Doha, Qatar | QNA | England’s football team has arrived in Doha, ahead of Sunday’s much awaited start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The English team delegation includes 26 players led by head coach Gareth Southgate.
England, winners of the 1966 World Cup, will compete in Group B with Iran, the United States and Wales.
The team will stay in Al-Wakra City and begin their preparations on Wednesday at Al-Wakra Club’s playgrounds.
The team will play its opening match against Iran on Nov. 21, 2022, at Khalifa International Stadium.
