Bolivian President Evo Morales throws in the towel

First the police joined the protesters, then the army did too, and that was the end of Morales

La Paz, Bolivia | AFP |  Bolivian President Evo Morales announced his resignation Sunday, caving in following three weeks of sometimes-violent protests over his disputed re-election after the army and police withdrew their backing.
