Entebbe, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Jonathan Lloyd Busuulwa returned to the club house with a perfect round of 66 nett to beat a field of 225 golfers at the MTN Monthly Tee of March at Entebbe Club.
The banker gave credit to his coach club Pro Davis Kato, who has working on his game. “We have been working on a few things on my game and it has paid off,” Busuulwa said.
“I started off badly and would have had better scores than this but am glad at a point my game changed today my putter was great on the greens,” he told the press.
The event celebrated women who have been empowering society in a positive way, according to a statement from the club. The theme was Pink with most lady golfers donning pink on the course together with male golfers.
Anne Abeja, was the ladies winner in Group A with a score of 70 with Annet Nakiyaga, wonGroup B with 72 nett.
Allan Muhereza, was the Men’s Group A winner with 69 nett on count back while Joseph Adrapi, claimed Group B with 67 nett. Herbert Kamuntu, was Group C winner with 68 nett while Sean Kinsella, was the winner Seniors with 68 nett.
The Ladies and Men’s guest winners where Ruth Akello and Ivan Arinaitwe with scores of 66 nett each.
The tournament co sponsors are CFAO Motors, Huawei Uganda, AfriSafe Insurance Brokers and Castle Lite Uganda.
