Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe will visit Uganda this week.
Véron Mosengo-Omba, the CAF General Secretary confirmed to Uganda Radio Network (URN) that he will accompany Dr. Motsepe for the two-day visit to Uganda on July 14-15.
“The visit to Uganda is very important since Dr Motsepe promised to visit the Member Associations,” added Mosengo-Omba.
The CAF President was in Morocco for the official opening of the ongoing TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) last week before he traveled to organize the visit to Uganda.
The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has also confirmed that besides visiting some of the football projects, Dr Motsepe will also meet President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among, FUFA Executive and key football stakeholders.
