Youth activists ask beneficiaries to return Shs6Bn
Two national youth groups on Wednesday launched a countrywide campaign to pressure the 42 senior government officials who received the handshake to refund the money.
The group also vowed to storm and occupy the office of the Deputy Chief Justice Steven Kavuma to show their displeasure following the interim order.
Addressing journalists at Bativa Hotel in Makerere, the national coordinator of the Jobless Brotherhood Norman Tumuhimbise and Herbert Anderson Burora, chairperson of Concerned Citizens Youth, said they are planning a campaign to isolate all who benefited from the “presidential handshake.”
