Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Milk processor, Fresh Dairy, has unveiled a new campaign dubbed FreshDairymunju aimed at encouraging customers to stock up Fresh Dairy’s Long life UHT Extended Shelf Life milk and avoid frequent crowding in shops and avoid spreading of coronavirus.
The Fresh Dairy’s Long life UHT milk is available in a 500 ML pack and has up to 90-day shelf life, no need to refrigerate and affordable competitive price of Shs18,000 for a carton of 12 pieces.
Fresh Dairy marketing Manager, Vincent Omoth, said Fresh Dairy’s Long life UHT milk offers consumers convenience because its 90-day shelf minimizes the hustle of back and forth trips to the shops.
He, however, says that Fresh Dairy’s long life UHT milk needs to be stored at room temperature and off the ground for the entire 90 days.
“As a company, we aim to constantly be relevant to consumer needs, especially at such a time when convenience tops the priority list when it comes to shopping food items for the family,” he said.
Fresh Dairy, a subsidiary of Kenya’s Brookside Dairy, produces a variety of products including; fresh milk, flavored milk, powdered milk, Yoghurt (both flavoured and Brookside fruit yoghurt), Butter, Ghee and fresh cream.
