Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | UEGCL seeks to fill the following vacant position: INTERNAL AUDITOR.
The Internal Auditor will review, evaluate and contribute to the improved effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes and perform audit assignments as directed by the supervisor
The minimum education level required to perform this job is a B. Com, Accounting (Hons), Economics or equivalent · Part qualification with a relevant professional body such as IIA, ACCA, CPA CIMA
The applications should physically be delivered by March 20, 2018.
UEGCL’s key role is to carry on the business of electric power generation and sale within Uganda or for export to neighbouring countries; build, operate and maintain Electricity Generation Plants; monitor the operation and maintenance of its Concessioned Assets – Nalubaale and Kiira Power Stations; provide Technical Support as and when required by the Government of the Republic of Uganda through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development; organize, support, encourage and maintain training facilities in technical and related fields.
