Kisoro, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Independent Presidential Aspirant, Joseph Kiiza Kabuleta on Tuesday failed to campaign in Kisoro, Rukiga and Rubanda Districts.
Kabuleta only campaigned in Kabale town where he met his supporters at Victoria Inn in Kabale town. Kabuleta says that he was unable to campaign in the three districts due to the limited time.
He says that presidential aspirants were given less time compared to many districts they have to traverse wooing support.
According to Kabuleta, it is impossible to campaign in 146 districts within the 60 days they were allocated to them by Electoral Commission.
Kabuleta says that since he has campaigned in Kabale, he will campaign in Kanungu and Rukungiri before heading to Kasese on Wednesday.
He also says that he has to abide by the electoral commission road map in order not to clash with security personnel.
Addressing his supporters in Kabale, Kabuleta promised to market Uganda to boost its tourism. He also promised to improve sports and welfare of police officers, army and revive Uganda Railway once voted into power.
