London, UK | PREMIER LEAGUE .COM | Harry Kane was in outstanding form as he marked his 300th Premier League appearance with two goals in a 4-0 win for Tottenham Hotspur at Crystal Palace.

Kane brought the match to life three minutes into the second half when he headed in Ivan Perisic’s cross at the far post. His 15th PL goal of the season, and 198th of his career, came five minutes later, a clinical finish from Bryan Gil’s threaded pass.

Matt Doherty added a third before Son Heung-min ended an eight-match goalless run by completing the scoring.

Antonio Conte’s side move on to 33 points, two behind fourth-placed Manchester United. Palace drop to 12th with 22 points.

Forest drop out zone

Nottingham Forest claimed a huge win in their pursuit of Premier League survival, beating Southampton 1-0 at St Mary’s Stadium.

Taiwo Awoniyi scored the only goal of the match, converting from close range following a Brennan Johnson cross from the right.

It was Forest’s first away win of the season and their first goal on the road since August.

Saints slump to a fourth straight defeat since Nathan Jones’ appointment, leaving them rooted to the bottom of the table on 12 points.

Steve Cooper’s side rise three places to 15th on 17 points.

Thrillier at Elland Road

Leeds United and West Ham United played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Elland Road.

The hosts took the lead through Wilfried Gnonto, who scored his first Premier League goal after a superb give-and-go with Crysencio Summerville.

But goals either side of half-time from Lucas Paqueta, also his first goal in the league, and Gianluca Scamacca gave the visitors an advantage, which was wiped out by Rodrigo.

West Ham remain in 17th place on 15 points, three places behind Leeds on 17.

Midlands derby draw

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Villa Park.

Danny Ings struck 11 minutes from time after Daniel Podence had given the visitors the lead.

Villa also had the chance to win the match in the closing moments only for Leon Bailey to send his effort wide of goal after rounding Jose Sa.

The result leaves Wolves in 19th place on 14 points, while Villa are in 11th on 22.
