Kaweesi suspects further remanded

Kampala, Uganda | GODFREY SSALI |  Prosecution handling the murder case of the 20 people suspected to have killed former AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, his body guard Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Wambewa has informed court that police investigations are still incomplete.

State prosecutor Caroline Apiya told Nakawa court Grade one magistrate Noah Sajjabi that they needed an adjournment of the case to another date.

Magistrate Sajjabi thursday adjourned the case to September 21, and further remanded the accused persons back to Luzira prison.

The accused including a woman are facing 3 charges of murder, terrorism and aggravated robbery which were allegedly committed on the March 17, 2017 at Kulambiro in Kampala.
