Any three things that we don’t know about you?

I am a very jolly person and I am taken down seeing people go through suffering; especially poverty. I use my people as my think tank because even when I have new ideas, I share with them such that they can guide me on implementation. They can either buy my idea or supplement on it because at the end of the day we own the ideas.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Seeing others happy brings a smile on me so my happiness is dependent on other people. I can even spend to the least just to ensure that others are happy.

What is your greatest fear?

There are so many things that I fear despite seeming fearless. For instance; I fear scary or bad dreams.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

I am a fearless person and at one time it can land me into trouble. For instance, while I wanted to fight for my people, I forgot that life is very important.

 

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Liars

Which living person do you most admire?

Former president of America Barrack Obama because he was so confident and faced what others thought was possible. Other people thought that he couldn’t do it but he kept his faith high. I see myself just like him because he makes others believe in themselves. He is also a great speaker. I also like the current president of USA, Donald Trump for his honesty and straightforwardness.

What is your greatest extravagance?

I enjoy spending on things that make others happy.

What is your current state of mind?

I am happy What do you consider the most overrated virtue? We put a lot of emphasis on extravagance; people start drinking from sunset to sunrise and you keep wondering when they work. We even spend more than we earn. We need to revise our priorities in life.

What does being powerful mean to you?

Power comes with self-discovery; knowing what you can do and how possible can you implement it.

On what occasion do you lie?

It is very hard for me to tell a lie because I also hate being lied to. There is actually no circumstance that can force me to tell a lie maybe during jokes.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

I am only grateful to the Lord for what he graced me with. My appearance only changed temporarily after the fracas in parliament where doctors advised me to dress up with head gear. Which living person do you most despise? Anyone who overstays in power; for instance I hated former President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe because it means being mean and not giving opportunities. A great leader is one who makes leaders.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

Its only character as opposed to wealth. What is the quality you most like in a man? Character.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My family comes first. I also love Pope Francis.

When and where were you happiest?

I always celebrate the day I was born. Winning the Guild race at Ndejje University in 2015 was another happy moment. The other was in 2016 when my voters entrusted me with their power. Which talent would you most like to have? I am a footballer and it’s something that I still engage in every morning when I am not very busy. Where would you most like to live? Uganda is my favorite country because it is here that you find hospitable people. It is hard to be appreciated elsewhere; especially where racism is at its highest.

What is your most treasured possession?

I may not own them but my parents have been there for me and fulfilled what any good parents would do for their children.

What is your favorite occupation?

I am a professional procurement officer so I will take it on after politics.

What do you most value in your friends?

Being God fearing and advising me always.

Who are your favorite writers?

Norbert Mao’s writings are so unique and a closer look at them draws you to the humor embedded in them. Elsewhere Shakespeare remains my greatest writer.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

Nelson Mandela; he was the first black president of South Africa and after so many years of trials and suffering he chose to step down for other leaders.

What is your greatest regret?

The only regret I have is associating with people who end up failing me. How would you like to die? I love to die fighting for the good of my people and country. It might not be a physical fight but a struggle.

Faith, faith and faith
