Jinja, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Muslim clerics in the Busoga sub-region have hailed the Busoga Kingdom for promoting unity amongst the subjects.
While holding a meeting aimed at strengthening ties between the Muslim community and the Kingdom, at Busoga Kingdom headquarters on Tuesday, the clerics said that the continued cooperation will foster development.
The Busoga Muslim regional Khadhi, Hussein Bowa said that they have received tremendous material and moral support from the Kingdom leadership throughout the fasting season. “The Kingdom has offered us their grounds and boardroom to host our activities at no cost, which has over time strengthened our partnership to live harmoniously,” he said.
Osman Noor, the Kingdom’s 2nd Deputy Premier asked the subjects in the Busoga sub-region and diaspora to embrace the development of the Kingdom.
The Prime Minister Busoga Kingdom, Joseph Muvawala said that unity is one of the major pillars the institution has embraced.
Muvawala urged individuals and organizations to liaise with kingdom officials to implement development projects in the region.
