Enebbe, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Peace Kabasweka kept her nerve enroute to winnng the 14th edition of the Entebbe Ladies Open at the par 71 Lake side course here in Entebbe by 2 strokes.
The Toro Club lady captain produced scores of 74, 83 and 73 for a total of 230 gross to claim her second Ladies Open here at East Africa’s Oldest Club on Saturday. Melon Kyomugisha, was runner up with 232 gross.
Although the race was close until the final holes, Kabasweka iniststed that “this was an easy victory for me and I enjoyed my three days on the course.”
The tournament attracted a total of 206 golfers both Ladies and Men with foreign golfers from Kenya and Rwanda taking part.
