Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Lujja Bbosa Tabula, the suspected mastermind of the murder of Daniel Bbosa, the former head of the Ndiga could be hiding in Kenya, according to some leads from Police Crime Intelligence. Bbosa, also the proprietor of Transa Electrical Company Limited, was shot dead last month inside his car in Lungujja-Rubaga Division in Kampala.
On Monday morning, five individuals, including Lujja Noah, Harriet Nakiguli, Joseph Nakabale, Ezra Mayanja, and Milly Naluwenda, were arraigned in court over the same murder and remanded to Luzira prison. Last week, the Police announced an ongoing search for Tabula, offering a Shillings 10 million bounty for any information leading to his arrest.
During the press briefing at the police headquarters in Naguru, Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga explained that the hunt for Tabula is ongoing. “Ever since we announced a Shillings 10 million bounty, several members of the public from Kalangala, Buikwe, Ibanda, and other parts of the country have provided information they claim to lead to the arrest of the suspect. But this information was not useful,” Enanga.
He added: “We have some information that the suspect also fled the country and could be hiding in Kenya. But this world can become small like a box for anyone who is being hunted by the joint intelligence agencies.” He urged the public to continue providing information, as the 10 million Shillings bounty remains available.
“Crime Intelligence and other agencies are using all capabilities to track and arrest the suspect, and the bounty is still available for anyone providing credible information,” Enanga emphasized.
