Any three things we don’t know about you?

I am a born again person but I like to keep my relationship with God very private because there are so many speculations that come with being a DJ. Most people will not understand that I am just doing a job and I only follow what the client wants.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

I am a result oriented person so I am happy when I sail through. You don’t need a billion shillings to be happy which is why a smile on someone else’s face makes me happy.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

I am too lenient something that some people take advantage of. I am anger-in as opposed to anger-out and the challenge with it is that it also affects me as a person.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Dishonesty in everything including relationships and business breaks trust.

Which living person do you most admire?

Serena Williams; I don’t just admire her for sports but her determination and focus not just open court but even her businesses. If she puts her mind to something, she will achieve great because she considers negative media as the least of her problems.

What is your greatest extravagance?

I am such a Nike freak to the extent that I want to have the latest Nike shoes but before all that I have to tithe because I believe that giving back to God opens doors to more blessings.

What is the greatest thing you have ever done?

I have been chasing sponsorship for A1 challenge having set out to improve outreach programmes because everything is a struggle when there are no finances. To see Uganda Clays as one of those I proposed and presented to come through was something great. It was a breakthrough for two years of hard work as team manager.

What is your current state of mind?

I am happy and at peace; I like how I had planned for things and how they are starting to fall in place.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

In Uganda, we wait so much for what the press has to say about certain things some of which are not of national importance and jump on them. We focus more on irrelevant things that just take us back as a country.

What does being powerful mean to you?

Power comes with doing everything with 100 percent energy. This comes with striking a balance between the different roles.

On what occasion do you lie?

Sometimes when I don’t want to be mean to my fans who may not understand that I want to maintain a corporate brand, I am forced to lie that I am committed just as a polite way to turn them down.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

This is how God made me so I am comfortable with it.

Which living person do you most despise?

If you put your mind to something and give up on it, I consider you a looser.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

Being supportive, God fearing and hard working.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

Being supportive, caring, hardworking and God fearing

When and where were you happiest?

When I got my first class degree in 2010 because I don’t think it could be that big. Starting M-Idea and employing people was a dream come to pass. When I was called to be Team manager for the national team for Uganda basketball both men and women caught me off guard and made me believe that there are people out there who believe that I can do something.

Which talent would you most like to have?

I have always wanted to learn golf and it’s just one of those sports that I have never tried. I have just not gotten the time to, but one day I will go at it.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

M-Idea made five years and going by how businesses including credible and big companies are shutting down lately, is a great achievement. I employ six people with other expenses but I have made it this far so looking back at how I started from now is a big dream come true.

Where would you most like to live?

I love Uganda as my home despite having its ups and downs. At some point, I felt like I want to live elsewhere but cleared it off my head upon believing that I can do a lot from home.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Depression and mental health is becoming a big issue that has started eating into even young people. It is partly caused by parents neglecting their roles so all of us have got to do something about it

What is your favorite occupation?

I enjoy using information technology to make money.

What do you most value in your friends?

Honesty and being a support system.

Who are your favorite writers?

I used to read a lot of John Grisham but with technology, I read more online stuff that also makes me concentrate more on the content than writers.

What is your greatest regret?

I look at everything that has happened and didn’t go well as a lesson.

How would you like to die?

In my sleep or at least not a painful death.

What is your motto?

Hold the vision, trust the process.
