MADRID, SPAIN | Xinhua | Real Madrid confirmed on Wednesday that French international forward, Kylian Mbappe will be officially presented to the press and supporters at the club’s Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday, July 16th.
“Real Madrid C. F. is pleased to announce that Kylian Mbappe will be presented at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium on Tuesday 16 July at noon,” explained the club’s official website, adding that club President, Florentino Perez would “welcome Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid City for the formal signing of the contract.”
25-year-old Mbappe has signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid after the expiry of his deal with Paris Saint Germain, ending the Spanish giant’s long pursuit of the forward.
Mbappe will wear the number 9 shirt at his new club and around 80,000 fans are expected to attend an event that takes place in the middle of the school holidays. ■
