Whatever the result today, Uganda Cup history will be made when newcomers Onduparaka battle giants Vipers.
The 42nd Uganda Cup final will see Vipers seek to break their Cup jinx while Oduparaka, who have just been promoted to the Premier League, will make history by picking the Cup before they even play their first top league game.
Vipers have been in the final of Uganda’s second most prestigious competition twice before, but walked off empty handed.
The winner of the Uganda Cup gets a trophy, gold medals and a sh7 million cash prize. The runners up will get sh2 million and silver medals.
