BStars 1 Sadolin 0
JMC 1 Vipers 1
JSS 0 Onduparaka 0
Express 0 BUL 1
Police 0 Soana 3
Paul Mucureezi’s first goal of the season gave KCCA a narrow 1-0 win over Saints Tuesday that was enough to put them back firmly on top of the Uganda Premier League with 12 points.
KCCA needed the win to banish memories of their defeat at Onduparaka last week, and the early strike by Mucureezi gave them the platform to dominate play in the game.
“I have started all the four games this season and narrowly missed out on scoring. My main target going into the Saints match is to break that goal scoring jinx and start scoring more regularly,” Mucureezi had said before the match.
Fellow giants Express and Vipers had mixed results while Villa rolled over Proline.
Vipers held on for a draw in Jinja after taking an early lead through Duncan Seninde while Milton Karisa struck on 28th minutes as BUL shocked Express at Wankulukuku.
Goals from Alex Kitata, Vitalis Tabu and Dennis Kamanzi saw SC Villa secure three points at home at Mandela National stadium.
