VIDEO: Buganda Kingdom is mourning the death of its former Katikiro Joash Mayanja Nkangi who passed on this morning. In a message, the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga described Nkangi as a key pillar during Mutesa II’s reign and one who stood firm to protect the kingdom during the times of the Buganda crisis.
