VIDEO: Buganda Kingdom plans to put idle land into use to increase its income. Focus is on construction, with the kingdom planning to put the 216 acres of Mengo palace land to use through public private partnership. Buganda is one of the biggest landlords in Uganda with a lot of unutilized land.
Other projects will see affordable housing units in Wakiso and Mpigi that will go for sh50 to 100 million.
