VIDEO: Twenty five countries’ delegates meet to create continental force
Kampala, Uganda | NTV UGANDA | The third Ministerial Meeting of the African Capacity for Immediate Response to Crisis commenced on Sunday in Kampala with 25 member countries in attendance.
The meeting was held to discuss the creation of a functional African Standby Force to prevent conflict and promote peace on the African Continent.
According to a report delivered by Major General Okello Francis the standby force will necessitate contributions of 12,000 US Dollars from each nation and a start up fund of 30 million US Dollars.
