Vipers eye Algerians, win away vs BUL FC in Njeru

Njeru, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Vipers FC has secured a 3-1 win against BUL FC at the Njeru based FUFA technical center in Buikwe to maintain its second position on the Uganda Premier League table.
Dan Sserunkuma, Tito Okello and Dan Sseninde scored the three goals for Vipers FC in Wednesday’s game whereas BUL FC’s lone goal was netted by Villa Oromchan. Vipers now has  24 points just 3 points below table leaders KCCA FC.Vipers’ coach, Javier Martinez says that his team is focusing on taking the trophy and needs support from the fans.

“We are eyeing the trophy and this win means a lot to us but all we need is more support from the fans who give us a reason to perform better,” he said.

BUL FC’s Peter Onen says his team lost focus after conceding an early goal.

“As a coach I am disappointed with my teams’ performance but after conceding an early goal in the first five minutes of the match, they lost focus and failed to manage the game thereafter,” he added.
